Process wastewater treatment plants are designed according to the requirements of production, investors and the required output parameters of treated water. Wastewater treatment from the meat industry consists of a combination of mechanical pre-treatment and physico-chemical treatment. Considering that in the technological wastewater in the meat industry there is also larger waste of animal origin, mechanical treatment is performed in two stages, rough mechanical treatment and fine mechanical treatment. The purification process consists of: rough mechanical treatment, pump manhole, fine mechanical treatment, aerated equalization tank, flotation device type: DAF (dissolved air flotation), dosing station for chemicals, pipe flocculator, aerated sludge tank, tank for sludge preparation, sludge filter press, MBBR biological reactor and polyelectrolyte preparation and dosing stations.
