BP ASP 5 K ULTRA O/AB
The sizing of biological wastewater treatment plants BP ASP K ULTRA was performed in accordance with HRN EN 12566-3 and HRN EN 12255 so that 1 ES consumption of 150 l / day of water and BOD5 of 60 g / day is foreseen.

DESCRIPTION OF DEVICE OPERATION
Wastewater enters the primary sedimentation tank which at the same time serves as a tank for excess sludge. Sedimenting and floating substances prevent further passage and are subjected to anaerobic digestion. The mechanically treated water is poured into the activation part where the microfiltration module is located. The activation part is used for biological treatment and microfiltration through membranes. At the bottom of this part are placed aerators that serve to aerate the tank and clean the membrane, and the air is supplied by a blower.
The advantage of this type of purifier BP ASP K ULTRA is the accumulation part within the entire activation tank used to collect wastewater and solids from the purifier.
The activated sludge mixture is filtered under pressure through a membrane. In case the microfiltration module is not in operation, the mixture is poured into a vertical secondary precipitator where sludge accumulates and precipitates and subsequently purified water flows out. Concentrated sludge from the bottom of the secondary precipitator is returned to the primary precipitator. Part of the activated sludge from the activation part is pumped as excess into the primary precipitator.
Advantages of devices compared to other types of devices for biological wastewater treatment:
-
The device is easy to install.
-
In practice, the sludge is extracted once at intervals of 6 months to 2 years.
-
Device maintenance consists of a person visiting the device once a week and checking the operation of the device.
-
– If all parameters are met, the device does not emit unpleasant odors
-
– There are no moving parts on the device, so there is practically nothing to break but the compressor, which needs to be maintained in accordance with the instructions.
-
– No need to add bioactivators which reduces the cost of maintenance
METHOD OF INSTALLATION OF ROUND DEVICES (O)
Installation of double wall type devices «AB»
(pavement area; high groundwater; greater installation depth)
It is necessary to excavate 20 cm wider from the sides of the device. A double-reinforced concrete slab 20-25 cm thick is made on a layer of a buffer layer of gravel or sand (min. 5 cm thick). Concrete must be screwed in due to possible damage to the device. The device can now be placed in the middle of the excavation (at a distance of 20 cm from the edges of the excavation) and connected to the inlet and outlet piping. The device must be gradually filled with water in layers of up to 30 cm and the space between the two walls must be filled in layers with low-consistency concrete (the outer sheath serves as formwork). Backfilling is done with wet sand in layers of 15 cm, with manual compaction. Above the device it is necessary to perform a reinforced concrete slab in accordance with the future load (the device must remain full of water).
